These free All About Me templates give you 8 Word documents on A4 and US Letter: a young learners sheet, a student page, a getting to know you question sheet and an All About Me poster. I’m Patrick Elliott, a teacher and Inclusion Lead. I start every new class with an All About Me sheet, so I built these for the ages I teach, with big boxes for drawing and prompts that tell me how each child learns.
In this guide, you’ll find what each version is for, which one suits your class, and how to fill it in on screen or on paper.

What Is an All About Me Sheet?
An All About Me sheet is a page where children write and draw about themselves: their age, family, favourite things and what they are good at. Teachers use it in the first weeks of a new year, so they learn about every child quickly and children practise writing about something they know well.
Which All About Me Sheet Should You Use?
- Young learners: a big box to draw yourself, five favourite things to finish, my family, and I am good at, for ages 4 to 7.
- Student: eight prompts about subjects, hobbies, goals and how I learn best, for ages 8 to 14.
- Getting to know you: ten back-to-school questions with room for an answer, for any age.
- Poster: a large picture box and six favourites, to print for a classroom display.
How to Use It in Class
- Fill in your own sheet first and share it, so the class sees what to write.
- Give each child the version that suits their age, or print the poster for a display.
- Let younger children draw first and write a word or two, and older children write in sentences.
- Keep the getting to know you answers: they help you plan seating, groups and support.
Read the student pages before you plan groups: I learn best when and something I want to get better at tell you a lot in the first week.
How to Print at the Right Size
Print at 100% on plain paper, one per child, or on card for the poster. Children can also type their answers in Word.
