These free certificate template designs give you 10 editable Word documents on A4 and US Letter: a certificate of achievement, a certificate of completion, a certificate of appreciation, a Star of the Week award and a Christmas award certificate. I’m Patrick Elliott, a teacher and Inclusion Lead. Certificates are the quickest way I know to make a child’s week, so I made designs for every occasion I hand them out: achievement, Star of the Week, completion, thank-yous and Christmas.
In this guide, you’ll find which certificate suits which occasion, how to add a name and reason in Word, and how to print certificates that look their best.

👉 The border, stars and seal stay in place while you type, so you only change the words: the name, the reason, the date and the signature.
👉 The name, both reason lines, the date and the signature are click-and-type boxes, and the date opens a small calendar.
