This free Microsoft Word visual guide puts all eleven Word Made Easy infographics in one printable PDF, with a cover and a contents page. Each page uses a real screenshot of Word with numbered markers and a key, so you can find any button and see what it does. The download is a ZIP file with the guide in US Letter and in A4.
I made these for colleagues and students who are new to Word. Start with the Word window and the Home tab, then work through the other tabs one at a time.

A Look Inside the Guide

How to Print the Guide
Open the ZIP file and choose the PDF for your paper: US Letter for North America, A4 for most other countries. Each PDF has thirteen pages: the cover, the contents page and the eleven infographics in order.
- Print at 100% or Actual size, so the small labels stay readable.
- To print one infographic, enter its page number in the print dialog: the Word window is page 3 and the shortcuts are page 13.
- Print in colour for the numbered markers, or in greyscale: the key still lines up with the numbers.
Made from Real Word Screenshots
Every picture is a screenshot of Microsoft Word for Windows, taken in October 2026, with my own numbered markers and plain-English explanations. Your ribbon may look slightly different if your screen is narrower or your version of Word is older, but the buttons are in the same groups. For the keys behind the buttons, see the Microsoft Word keyboard shortcuts bundle.
